-Roy Hendrickson is Chef de Cuisine at Zimzala at the Shorebreak Hotel and has been for about 5 months. 8/12/10

- Tim Kast has been named Executive Chef Partner of the soon-to-open Seasons 52 in South Coast Plaza. 8/9/10.

- Jorge Estrada has departed Fleming’s Newport Beach. Rumor has it that he will be replaced with Chris Hutten, currently at The Catch, Anaheim. 8/1/10

- Bert Agor most recently with Ruth’s Chris has taken over the kitchen at TAPS Brea replacing Manny Gonzales who is now in San Diego. 8/1/10.

- Paul Gregory is now the Executive Chef and F&B Director at the Hilton Long Beach. 7/19/10.

- Jon Eyer is now the Executive Chef at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. 6/28/10.

- Daniel Durfort has left Cheval Blanc and is now at the Topa Tower Club, a private club in Oxnard. 6/24/10.

- Chef Laura De Martin is the Chef de Cuisine at TusCA. 6/24/10.

- Salvatore Ferrara and Gino Buonanoce have been appointed co-executive chefs of Antonello Ristorante. 6/22/10.

-breaking news - Ronnie Arnold is leaving hush next week and will be taking over at Hotel Menage in Anaheim. Patrick Ramsey will be taking over at hush. 05/10/10

-Thomas Tran - we hear that you have left Chimayo at the Beach - Where are you??? 10/27/09 Found him! He’s now overseeing kitchen operations for all four of Zov’s operations. 05/10/10

-Chef Jon Blackford is the new Executive Chef of Kimera Restaurant in Irvine, re-vamping their menu to feature “Modern American Comfort Food”. 05/06/2010

-Chef Brian Black started his new gig yesterday. Congratulations on the new Exec Chef position at Stonehill Tavern. Where did Chef Keogh go, anyone know? 03/02/2010

-We recently caught up with Chef Jason Pena this week. In Aug he left the Atrium Hotel, joined the Kyoto Grand Hotel in Los Angeles and is now moving on to the Hilton Glendale. 02/08/2010

-Chef Jason Pena has departed Specialty Restaurant Group and has taken the reigns at Waterfalls at the Atrium Hotel.

-Chef Thomas Ryan has relocated. He resigned his position with Pelican Grill and has taken over the helm at Big Canyon Country Club.

-Yves Fournier is anxiously awaiting the opening of Andréi’s in the City of Irvine. Chef has been with Hyatt Hotels for quite some time; First in Irvine at 6ix Park Grill and then as Executive Sous at the Hyatt Newport Beach.

-Chef Joseph Gotti previously of Patina’s Naples at Downtown Disney has taken over the kitchen at Da Vinci in Long Beach. We can’t wait to sample the new menu this month.

-Chef Don Schoenburg supervised the reopening of Leatherby’s Café Rouge last month. I know he’s looking forward to things calming down a bit once all the new menus etc. are instituted.

-Chef Lulu’s back from France and heating up the kitchen at Pinot Provence.

-Rumor has it that Chef Nick Weber has returned to the Patina group at Catal after a short stint with Mor Project at Blanca. Blanca has revamped their menu and now offers Mexican Food.

-ZMario has re-opened as iLounge. We’re still waiting to hear about the new Chef.

-Theo Ioannou has departed Waterfalls at the Atrium Hotel and has taken a Mon - Friday day job at Cedars- Sinai in Los Angeles.
