Waggin' Trails – a non profit rescue transit bus operated by "A Leg Up" Pet Rescue is saving the lives of hundreds of shelter animals each month by delivering them to areas with less impacted shelters who have adorptive families waiting to provide forever homes for these pets. “Our freshly prepared carryout feasts are a big hit with guests. Families can now enjoy a savory Easter dinner from Mimi’s in the comfort of home without spending hours of prep and cook time in the kitchen,” said Mimi Somerman, Mimi’s Cafe Senior Vice President of Marketing.
Available April 1 through Easter Sunday, April 24, the full-course meal serves six to eight guests – all for $79.99. The feast includes a spiral cut quarter ham and honey Dijon glaze with all the trimmings: mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed fresh vegetables with garlic butter, a choice of dinner salad or Caesar salad, and dinner rolls. Mimi’s carrot raisin loaf and six mini pineapple upside down cakes top off the meal. Simply heat, serve and enjoy. Additional side dishes and desserts are available a la carte to add on to any meal.
As an added touch, a recipe for Mimi’s ham and navy bean soup–a simple, delicious meal using the ham bone and any leftover ham, is included with the feast.
To order the Easter Feast To-Go, Mimi’s offers convenient online ordering and phone orders can be placed at your local restaurant. Mimi’s recommends placing the order at least 24 hours in advance. The feast can be picked up until noon Easter Sunday. Early orders are encouraged while quantities last.
Mimi’s also offers regular business hours and full menus on Easter Sunday for dine-in guests.
