Super Mex Restaurants Inc., a family-owned and operated restaurant chain with 15 locations throughout the Southwest, including Long Beach and Orange County, has appointed Steven Kishi as Chief Executive Officer. Kishi’s leadership and guidance has created a new foundation for Super Mex’s expansion and success due to his expertise in developing key long-term, partnering relationships for the company. In his new role, Kishi will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for Super Mex, by establishing long-range goals, plans, policies, strategies and marketing programs. Kishi joined Super Mex’s executive management team in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer of Super Mex Franchise Corp. With over 20 years of restaurant industry experience, Kishi was formerly the Vice President of Franchise Development and International for CKE Restaurants. Under his direction, Super Mex’s well-known, full-service dining experience was introduced to new audiences as a fast casual concept with the new prototype opening in Riverside, Calif. “Steve’s enthusiasm, dedication and knowledge of our brand have played an integral part in Super Mex’s growth,” says Ted Orozco, chairman of the board for Super Mex Restaurants Inc. “Through his leadership, we will continue to pursue our goals of franchise growth and providing the highest quality of authentic Mexican food, with exceptional customer service.”
