Nothing can be finer than food and drinks made with a hearty hard cider kick laced with apple nuances. During its Mini Apple Cider Festival, three savory dishes will be served:Crisp Pork Belly with cider reduction and stewed heirloom apples; Oyster with cider granite, spicy apple relish and cider-glazed root vegetables;andCrispy Duck Breast with cider reduction, Brussels sprouts, bacon and wild rice.
Enjoy the Kentucky Maplewood cocktail ($10) along with any of the chef’s cider-inspired dishes or on its own. Made with two ounces of bourbon, one-half ounce maple syrup, one-quarter ounce lemon juice and two ounces of hard cider.
