Try a brilliant series of wines from Francis Ford Coppola, featuring the Coppola Diamond Collection Black Label Claret, Director’s Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and Sofia Blanc de Blanc.

The Diamond Collection Black Label Claret, layered with flavors of blackberry, cassis and roasted espresso and moreover, a Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine, blended in the classic Bordeaux style.

“Nice Cab for the price range young wine will age well. A good buy.The wine looks Ruby colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Prune, Apricot, Coffee, and Black Pepper.” BFEIST50, reviewer on CellarTracker.com

The Pinot Noir Director’s is a blend of Carneros and Russian River Valley fruit. It exhibits a deeper ruby color and is bursting with red berry fruit flavor. It is spicy and slightly earthy with good overall varietal character. The Pinot Noir is soft on the palate with ripe tannins and bright acidity.

“Surprisingly subtle expression from divergent spots – Carneros and Russian River Valley – that highlights the versatility (and geographic muddle) of “Sonoma Coast” in an everyday bottle. The refreshing high tones sell it well: cranberry, chalky stone and a zesty, minty edge” Jon Bonne, San Francisco Chronicles

Sofia Blanc de Blanc a unique blend of Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Muscat, is a delicate sparkling wine perfect for any celebration. It offers seductive flavors, fresh aromatics and light effervescence all packaged with striking, feminine flair. Sofia Blanc de Blancs delivers delicate scents of orange blossom, lemon and apricots. Fresh, crisp and festively charming, you’ll enjoy light effervescence and elegant notes of quince, green apples, pears, and pineapple.

“This is a really delicious, lightly sparkling white wine. The light, crisp fruit flavors, mainly apple and nectarine, are very refreshing. I love that it also comes in mini cans which are great for parties. A wonderful blend of sauvignon blanc, pinot blanc, and muscate.” Maryann G., reviewer on Snooth.com

The series ranges from $13 to $17, making them great options for good and affordable wine you may have not known about. Until April 1st, you can purchase the wines at Vons or Pavilions during its huge wine sale promotion of 30% discount off all wines with your Club card and an extra 10% of a purchase of six or more (mix and match, includes champagne and sparkling wine).
