In celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11, 2014, MOD Pizza will be honoring all mothers with a free individual, artisan-style pizza or hand-tossed salad all day at any of their 16 locations in Washington, Oregon and California. In addition MOD, a company inspired by great stories, will honor 5 “MOD Moms”. These 5 moms will win a “pizza party for 10” at the MOD location of their choice.
MOD is asking their fans up and down the West Coast to share stories of a special mom that they know. MOD asks: “What makes this mom MOD?” Does she have a cool skill or talent? Has she overcome a challenge? Does she give quirky advice or have a hilarious “mom-ism”? There are no particular rules – we want to hear from everyone with stories of extraordinary moms.

MOD’s artisan-style pizzas are Made-On-Demand (MOD), using organic fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces. Customers can create their own pizzas and salads, using any combination of 30 featured toppings, or they can choose from a menu of MOD classics. Pizzas and salads are the same price regardless of the number of toppings. Pizzas are hand-cooked in an 800 degree oven in less than 3 minutes and salads are hand-tossed in front of the customer. MOD also offers local draft beers, wine, sweet and savory knots, milkshakes, and house-made lemonades and iced teas.
