The Fairfax District’s iconic Farmer’s Daughter Hotel and TART restaurant team with longtime friends and local nonprofit the Los Angeles Youth Network to host “TART Uncorked.” Hosted by Event Chairs Ellen Picataggio and Ann Marie Spinelli, the one-night-only wine tasting and fundraising event takes place on Thursday, May 29 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets, available for $150 per person, include pours of over six California wines curated by General Manager and Sommelier Mary Thompson, seasonal small bites from Executive Chef Nick Erven, and the opportunity to bid on an exclusive selection of silent auction items-from an overnight getaway for two at Jordan Vineyard and Winery and a $500 gift card to Bliss Spa, to a raffle of the event chair’s favorite wines. Guests will enjoy the sounds of Flamenco guitarist Walter Molina while sampling a selection of wines from Jordan Winery, Chandon Winery, Club W, and Gallo Wines. Paired small bites will include Watermelon, Tomato, and Jicama Skewers with harissa and mint; Bay Scallop Ceviche on a crispy rice cracker; and Oysters on the Half Shell with pink peppercorn mignonette. Silent auction items from Taschen Books, Clare Vivier, Kim White Handbags, Lindy & Grundy, Maya Brenner, Adam Silverman’s Atwater Pottery, Monsieur Marcel, Nespresso, and Modern Multiples Fine Art Studios, among others, will be available for bid. About Los Angeles Youth Network: Since 1985, Los Angeles Youth Network (LAYN) has served runaway, foster, and other youth experiencing homelessness ages 12-21 that includes emergency, group, and long-term housing.
