The Fourth Annual Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival, presented by FOOD & WINE, returns August 21-24, 2014 to Downtown Los Angeles. Over the course of three nights and four days, this year’s festival will surpass expectations with an unparalleled culinary calendar of bespoke food and wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, culinary personalities, exceptional live entertainment and one-of-a-kind experiences.
The festival lineup will feature a sprawling showcase of unlimited tastings as well as cookbook signings, wine and cocktail tastings, culinary demonstrations, luxurious dinners and more. The festival kicks off on Thursday, August 21, with the Ultimate Bites of L.A. presented by Chase Sapphire Preferred, featuring the first ever Chase Sapphire Preferred Chef Challenge, where two of Los Angeles’ most influential chefs team up with celebrity chefs, including Graham Elliot and Fabio Viviani, to compete for charity. Friday night brings the ever-popular Asian Night Market with savory bites from the best chefs and restaurateurs from every part of the city. Afternoons will be equally hard to pass up with signature-themed Power Lunch series at Beverly Hills’ most exclusive hotels, along with the highlight of the weekend the Lexus Grand Tasting Tents, offering an endless array of food stations and the best wineries pouring their finest vintages. Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival will offer something for everyone as guests have access to some of the most notable food stars and emerging talent of tomorrow for the ultimate gastronomic gathering.
Transforming Downtown Los Angeles, including its home base along Grand Avenue, Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival gathers the culinary world’s biggest stars and talent under one roof. From Michelin starred chefs, James Beard Award-winners and Top Chef Masters to FOOD & WINE Best New Chefs the line-up is astounding. Guests will have the chance to mingle with luminaries and culinary icons such as Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, Michael Chiarello, Scott Conant, Graham Elliot, Dominique Crenn, Pierre Gagnaire and Ari Taymor, as well as television personalities such as Robert Irvine host of the Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible” and more.
Tickets range from $50 to $350, with full weekend packages at approximately $1,000 are available. Tickets will be available for pre-sale to Chase Sapphire cardmembers June 16 through June 18 and to the general public on June 19. Chase Sapphire cardmembers will enjoy VIP lounges, event speed lines and access to an exclusive luncheon and intimate meet-and-greets with chefs during the festival.
