The new food truck from the “Godfather” of Hawaiian heritage cuisine, Chef Sam Choy, hits the street of Los Angeles in July.Serving its signature poke, Pineapple Express brings to Mainland diners a unique chance to taste Choy’s celebrated food.
“I’m delighted to bring the dishes of Hawaii to the Mainland with the delicious, bright flavors we taste daily on the islands,” says Choy, “From my poke, to our special da kine’ sauce, all the way to our Sweet Endings, we’re definitely going to give you more hula for your moolah.”
Pineapple Express, found at locations throughout Los Angeles, offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night eats.A sample of menu items include Poke “Big Island Bowl”, Sam’s Original Kahula Pork Sandwhich, “Maui Wowie” Chopped Salad, and “More For Your Moolah” Wraps.
