The Share Our Selves (SOS) Celebrity Chef Dinner is a five course gourmet dinner and hors d’oeuvres prepared by a group of Orange County, California’s finest chefs. Each course is paired with a fine wine. Guests participate in an opportunity drawing, silent auction and live auction. The event nets approximately $160,000 which supports the SOS Food Pantry.
Founded in 1992, the Food Pantry retrieves excess food from local food vendors and distributes to those lacking food security. SOS volunteer and staff drivers pick up donated food from 25 sites, 6 days a week. Packaged by SOS volunteers, the food is distributed to approximately 250 individuals and families a day. This year’s dinner will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach.
