New Years Eve Extravaganza

WHAT:For guests looking to indulge in an extravagant night out this holiday season, downtown Los Angeles’ celebrated fine dining destination, Patina, is offering a multitude of pre-fixe dinner options on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. The night before Christmas highlights Yuletide-inspired dishes such as Venison Saddle with quince, cranberry compote, and fig sauce chartreuse; Apple Glazed Monkfish with red cabbage, rutabaga, and a potato-juniper emulsion; and traditional desserts likeSticky Toffee Pudding with candied chestnuts and flor di latte, as well as Bûche de Noël with pistachio praline and orange confit. Closing out the holiday festivities, Patina invites guests to ring in the New Year at its annual holiday gala, featuring prix-fixe early evening and mid-evening feasts, and an á la carte menu available in the late evening. Luxurious offerings include Lobster Ravioli au Daikon with caviar and verjus vinaigrette; Guinea Hen with charred leeks, leg confit cigar, and sauce Perigord;Pavlova with passionfruit crème and champagne bubbles; Petrossian Caviar with buckwheat blinis and traditional accoutrements; and a selection of matured artisanal cheeses from Patina’s legendary cheese cart, served with a variety of winter chutneys and gourmet nuts. News Year’s Eve signature cocktails include the Fantasie with champagne, St-Germain, and fresh pomegranate juice, alongside Sommelier Silvestre Fernandes’ finely curated pairings of celebratory wines and champagne.
