The Marchesi di Barolo estate encompasses approximately 100 acres of vineyard in the Langhe – some of the finest in Piedmont. The cellars are located in the village of Barolo, overlooking the spectacular Renaissance castle of the Marquis Falletti. That early dynasty established the vineyards there, which were then acquired in the late
19th century by Pietro Abbona, the undisputed patriarch of Barolo.
Since that time Marchesi di Barolo has sustained a vibrant history of innovation and success.
