Larry Houser, founder and co-owner of Fullerton’s Bourbon Street, as well as founder of Fullerton Cares: Autism Coalition, and chairperson for the Orange County chapter of Autism Speaks, has partnered with DMA Insurance for its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the event benefit Autism Speaks Orange County community, and Fullerton School district autism programs.
In addition to hundreds of anticipated spectators, the event has over a hundred registered golfers including Pro Football Hall of Famer, Eric Dickerson; former Major League Baseball player, Shawn Green; Olympic Gold Medalist, Mitch Gaylord; actors Peter Jason, Keith Carradine and Stacy Keach, among others.
As with past year events, Bourbon Street will provide catering, offering guests an array of New Orleans inspired California Cajun cuisine and drink. Amongst the spread will be popular new menu items accented with the creative fusion of Cajun spices, and fresh California rustic herbs and citrus flavors. All dishes are made entirely from scratch using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. “Bourbon Street has, and will continue to play an integral part of the event. Raising awareness and funding for autism, all while having fun is what it’s all about. Funds for research, prevention, treatment and ultimately a cure.”
