Fresh ingredients and produce have always been the foundation of Zov Karamardian’s Mediterranean dishes and her new seasonal menu is no exception. Embracing the freshest locally grown seasonal vegetables, Zov has put together four new menu items that bring together familiar tastes with a fresh twist.
Available at her Tustin, Irvine and Newport Beach locations through the end of the year, the menu includes butternut squash ravioli with Shitake mushrooms, toasted pine nuts, spinach and peas for $16.95; pepper crusted flat iron steak with Aleppo pepper, sumac, shoestring potatoes and sauteed Swiss chard for $21.95; grilled pork chop with crispy potato cake, pomegranate molasses, and fresh asparagus for $19.95; and falafel crusted salmon with sauteed fall vegetables and tahini sauce for $21.95.
“My menu has always shifted with the seasons,” said Zov. “Utilizing the produce when it’s at its freshest and most flavorful makes these dishes really come alive.”
Zov’s Bistro and Bakery serves some of Southern California’s finest Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine set in chic, yet comfortable environments.
