Marina Kitchen, located in the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina invites guests to raise a glass and ring in 2016 with a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring delicious bites, live music, and unique wine pairings.
The Downtown San Diego locale kicks off 2016 with two separate dinner services, providing dining options to fit the New Year’s Eve plans of all guests. Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel Manager, Steve Pagano, says that diners also have the opportunity to add an incredible wine experience to their meal, with pairings specially designed by Advanced Sommelier Wendy Shoemaker.
“New Year’s Eve is one of the most elaborate and exciting times of year for us, and this year’s all night party is designed to ring in 2016 in true mouthwatering Marina Kitchen fashion,” continued Pagano. “Whether Marina Kitchen is your final destination or a stop along the way, Executive Chef Aron Schwartz and Sommelier Wendy Shoemaker have crafted two extravagant dinner services with special wine pairings that send off 2015 on a delicious note.”
Held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., Marina Kitchen’s first dinner seating is designed for those looking to enjoy a delicious prix-fixe, four-course meal at an early bird hour. For guests with a jam-packed New Year’s Eve itinerary, Marina Kitchen serves as destination number one during its first dinner service. Priced at $55 per person, diners have the option to add specially selected wine pairings for an additional $25 per person. (18% gratuity charge will be added).
The party continues throughout the evening with a second dinner service held from 8:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Priced at $95 per person, Marina Kitchen’s second dinner service keeps the celebration going in an all night fête boasting six indulgent courses, and a champagne toast. Wine pairings from Shoemaker are available to accompany each course for an additional $45 per person. (18% gratuity charge will be added).
New Year’s Eve goers will enjoy live music and libations until 1:00 a.m. Popular San Diego band, Crown Town featuring Matt Heinecke takes the stage at 8:00 p.m. with their signature folk, classic rock, jazz, blues and country inspired sounds.
