IRISH OR NOT: MANHATTAN HOUSE CELEBRATES
ST. PATRICK’S DAY- MARCH 17
Guests will enjoy Irish-Themed Favorites Such as Guinness Ice Cream & Corned Beef Reubens
What began as a religious feast day for the patron saint of Ireland has become an international festival celebrating Irish culture. Manhattan House is joining in on the fun and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on Thursday, March 17th with one-night-only festive food and drink specials.
To commemorate the Irish holiday, Manhattan House’s Head Chef, Diana Stavaridis, is creating a limited-edition Corned Beef Reuben featuring their in-house baked bread, Korean corned beef and kimchi, pickled in chili aioli. Additionally, guests who come in the restaurant wearing any green article of clothing will also receive a free scoop of a special edition Guinness-infused ice cream with a purchase of any food or drink item.
The South Bay gastropub will also feature various drink specials throughout the evening. In addition to their extensive draft beer selection, guests can also honor the Irish by ordering a shot of Jameson with their draft beer for only $10. The bar will also offer an “Irish Mule,” a thematic take on the classic Moscow Mule, containing Jameson, ginger beer and lime for just $8.
“St. Patrick’s Day is all about luck, and we feel very fortunate to have guests who love the House as much as we do,” says Jeff Kirshenbaum, a co-founding partner of Manhattan House. “This is a way for us to give back to our guests and toast to a day where everyone can feel the luck of the Irish.”
The restaurant’s kitchen will be open for dining on Thursday, March 17th from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Their bar will stay open from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Manhattan House is located at 1019 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
