Tower12 Hermosa Bch4 07 1 16Tower12 in Hermosa Beach opened in Spring of 2017.

Tower12, a +4,000SF bar/restaurant inspired by the surf and punk culture in Hermosa Beach from 1960 through the 1980s, to open by the end of Summer 2016. A  California-bungalow style space representing all that makes Hermosa a unique hotbed for the surf, volleyball, skate and music culture. Located on the 2nd floor (on top of Fat Face Fanner’s Fishshack bar) with views of the pier and ocean. The entire space is open to exterior bridges and breezeways.

Natural materials were used, such as white-washed woods, rough sawn red cedar and woven teak woods creating an overall bright open color palette; as well as leather seating, vintage furniture, concrete tiles, butcher block bar tops, a live-edge community table, macramé hangings, and a custom Surfboard table made by Dennis Jarvis, owner of Spyder Surf Boards. The decor of Tower12 will also include original art from local Hermosa Beach photographers featuring images and memorabilia documenting the creation of punk music in Hermosa from bands like Black Flag, Circle Jerks, & Pennywise.

The restaurant will be an upscale, yet casual, culinary-led and Bourbon-infused concept that will seat a total of 90 with an occupancy of 195. More details to come.
