Join us at The Ecology Center on Sunday, July 10th. Experience a hands-on cooking class with Chef Kerri Cacciata using fresh, organic, in season ingredients from our garden and enjoy a farm-to-table meal.

Our farm to fork adult cooking classes teach you how to prepare dishes using seasonal produce found at your local farmer’s market or grown in your own backyard.

We’ll begin with a sensory exploration of The Ecology Center’s orchard, veggie, and herb gardens, and end with the preparation and enjoyment of a meal together.

Join us for this hands-on cooking class to learn how to utilize the abundant and diverse harvest of tomatoes and create delicious, fresh foods.

In this cooking class we will:

  • Taste a range of heirloom tomatoes to compare flavors and textures
  • Discuss ways to use tomatoes fresh, cooked, and in food preservation
  • Learn how to save tomato seeds
  • Share a farm style meal together after class
