Vegan Oktoberfest
The World’s first event to combine a traditional Oktoberfest celebration with an all vegan menu, returns for the third straight year on October 15th. Over 3,000 food and beer lovers will gather in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles at LA Center Studios from 12:00pm-5:30pm to imbibe over 50 varieties of beers and ciders while enjoying traditional Oktoberfest cuisine with a vegan twist.
Entertainment at this year’s event will include live Oompah music from the Munich Boomsteiners as well as classic hits from Knyght Ryder, one of LA’s premier cover bands. Guests will be able to show off their stein holding and yodeling skills in their best Oktoberfest costumes to win a variety of prizes. For animal lovers, Vegan Oktoberfest offers something no other event can–the opportunity to experience a traditional Oktoberfest celebration with a clear conscience.
Every General Admission or VIP ticket comes with a complimentary beer stein and unlimited beer sampling. Participating food vendors include many of LA’s most acclaimed vegan restaurants such as Follow Your Heart, Premium Pub Foods, Southern Fried Vegan, The Green Truck, Ridiculous Baking Company, and Scandylous Delights.
Red Pill Productions LLC, will be producing the “cruelty-free” event for the third year in a row. “Last year’s event kicked things up a notch. More people than ever were participating in contests, wearing costumes, and really getting into the spirit of Oktoberfest. We are looking forward to an even better event this year,” says founder David Edward Burke. “Vegan or not, this event has something for everyone. And for vegans and vegetarians, Vegan Oktoberfest is a special opportunity. Where else can a vegan or vegetarian experience a traditional celebration while being able to eat every item on the menu,” adds Burke.
