The Fleming’s Steakhouse Newport Beach team is working hard to create an even better atmosphere for its guests, including a brand new patio. The makeover will be completed in October 2017. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar’s flagship restaurant at Fashion Island will debut a modern, fashion-forward look just in time for its milestone anniversary in 2018. The renovations, which began early this summer, include a revamp of the main dining room, exhibition kitchen, private dining rooms as well as a significant patio expansion.
Founded in 1998 by restaurateurs Paul Fleming and Bill Allen, Fleming’s now has nearly 70
locations throughout the country that offer guests a unique steakhouse experience
featuring the very finest aged USDA Prime beef, exceptional service, an inviting atmosphere and “The Fleming’s 100®” award-winning collection of 100 wines by the glass.
The extensive remodel will feature a brand-new bar and detailed touches throughout with
an emphasis on a modern and contemporary ambience. Design elements include:
A new 1,200 square foot patio with seating for more than 60, featuring a “living
wall” of plants, covered dining booths as well as plush loveseats and lounges for the
ultimate experience in al fresco fine steakhouse dining
A new wine-inspired bar with an illuminated backdrop and a bar top of Diano Real
Italian marble in cream with gold veins. Maple accents and Kona stains will add
warm touches throughout the bar with whimsical faux cork bar stools
A dramatic glass view of Fleming’s two wine rooms from the dining room, a custom,
halo-shaped light handmade by Seattle-based Light Art and a lighter, brighter color
palette throughout to evoke a more coastal feel, designed in collaboration with The
Irvine Company
A noise-reduced exhibition kitchen with updated finishes and a glass panel that still
allows guests to see expert preparation in the kitchen
State-of- the-art AV systems, large flat-screen TVs and video-conferencing cameras
with a completely integrated sound system in the four private dining rooms and
Wine Studio.
New exterior signage with LED (light-emitting diode) interior lighting
