SteelCraft Bellflower, the 15,000 SF craft food and drink gathering space in Downtown Bellflower held its Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, June 13th, 2019. Complete with the ring of cowbells and heartfelt acknowledgments from SteelCraft founder, Kim Gros to all nine vendors, the community eagerly welcomed the small businesses into their home.

All the vendors at SteelCraft Bellflower (Ten Mile Brewing, Off Duty Wine Bar, Long Beach Creamery, Solid Coffee Roasters, Fritzi Coop, Pholanthropy, PRIME by Shenandoah, Cassidy’s Corner, and The Standing Room) are open for business and celebrating Grand Opening Weekend.

The sophisticated development made with 14 repurposed shipping containers was made possible by Gros; Partner and builder-developer, Martin Howard of Howard CDM; and the City of Bellflower’s esteemed Economic Development department, the City Council, and staff.

Over 2,000 guests dined in the space during SteelCraft Bellflower’s soft opening weekend. The parabolic wooden shade structure reminiscent of Bellflower’s rich dairy roots, the soon-to-be-named cow, the Bellefleur apple blossom-inspired mural, and the kids running around on mini hills, all add to the neighborhood charm.

SteelCraft Bellflower is located on the corner of Bellflower Blvd. and Oak St. at 16500 Bellflower Blvd., Bellflower, CA 90706. SteelCraft is dog and family-friendly with regular events and programming available to the community. Free City-provided parking is available throughout Downtown Bellflower.
