Sweets Show (The)

After selling out four years in a row, LA Cookie Con and  Sweets Show is expanding with their latest expo, The Sweets Show.The West Coast’s mammoth baking and pastry event will take place September 22-23 at the Anaheim Convention Center’s newly constructed arena building. Due to an overwhelming demand, the show is quadrupling its space from last year’s event to make room for even more attendees, vendors and delicious treats!

With more than 20,000 guests expected over the weekend, dessert enthusiasts are sure to enjoy free samples from over 70 local shops and national brands offering classics as well as new items that are gearing up for a market launch. Attendees can expect to meet their favorite foodie TV stars, all while watching mouth-watering baking demonstrations and participating in hands-on workshops. The Sweets Show will be complete with three stages; as well as classrooms for workshops focusing on traditional baking, Vegan/Gluten-Free/Paleo Baking, Cake and Cookie Decorating, and the Celebrity Guests stage. Ace of Cakes pastry wizard Duff Goldman will lead a workshop where chocolate bunnies come to life and chase you around the room! Adriano Zumbo, best known for his two Netflix hits “Zumbo’s Just Desserts” and “Sugar Rush” will be hosting and interactive course on how to make a cheese less cheesecake! Attendees and their guests will enter a dessert lovers fantasy, featuring incredible cake displays, top tier pastry chefs and treats as far as the eye can see– all part of the Decorator’s Showcase competition.

100% of the proceeds from the Decorator’s Showcase entry fees will benefit Smile train and Cookies for Kids’ Cancer.
