Pisco! Tasting the Spirit of Perú with Javier van Oordt

Saturday, December 1
2-3:30 PM

Pacific Food & Beverage Museum

Pisco, a distinctive New World brandy, is the signature spirit of Perú and Chile. Yet despite its 500-year history and regional popularity, this easy sipper remains largely unfamiliar to most people outside South America. On Saturday December 1, at LA’s Pacific Food & Beverage Museum in San Pedro, join pisco importer Javier van Oordt for the story of the spirit, its creation, development, and state of the art, and a complimentary tasting of four award-winning, premium expressions—Quebranta, Mosto Verde, Italia, and Acholado—of Peru’s Pisco Viejo Tonel.

The program features snacks courtesy Melissa’s Produce.

Admission is FREE with RSVP!
