Ocean at Main, chef/owner Craig Strong’s first solo restaurant, will be celebrating its first New Year’s Eve with an elegant six-course Coastal California Chef’s Menu. The meal starts with Bester Osetra Caviar and then Sautéed Foie Gras with kumquat, onion marmalade and local cactus pear. The third course is House Made Lobster Fettuccine with fresh black truffles followed by Japanese Wagyu Beef Strip Loin accompanied by potato mousseline, tiny glazed vegetables and served with bordelaise sauce. Next is Beemster Cheese with lavender caramel and red endive salad. To end this special celebration is Tainori Chocolate Torte with cardamom whipped ganache and bourbon ice cream. Ocean at Main’s patio will be the Happy New Year’s spot to toast friends and family when 2019 arrives complete with plush cushy seating, a live DJ, table bottle service and more.
