COSTA MESA, CA, January 23, 2019 – Share Our Selves (SOS) is excited to announce the 26th Annual Wild & Crazy Taco Night on Thursday, April 4th at SOS in Costa Mesa. 20+ of Orange County’s most recognized and honored chefs will join an expected 700 supports of SOS for a fun-filled evening of inventive tacos, craft beer, and margaritas.

What was born out of a mutual love of local cuisine and community engagement, Wild & Crazy Taco Night has been a hallmark party for foodies and philanthropists alike. Celebrated OC chefs have continuously performed at their most creative as they personally compete to come up with the most unique tacos voted on by those in attendance. At last year’s event, the YELP People’s Choice Taco winner (as chosen by attendee) was the Adobo Prime Rib Double Decker Taco created by Chef Eric Mickle of Orange Hill Restaurant. Each distinct taco is conceived solely for this event, allowing the discerning foodie an exclusive experience. Tickets include all-you-can-eat tacos and beverages, including DesMaDre Tequila, margaritas, and beer from Barley Forge Brewing Co. and Sol Cerveza.

Back by popular demand is the pre-event VIP Party! Participating guests will enjoy early admission and have the opportunity to meet all of the chefs and sample their tacos before the general event begins. Due to incredible response, the VIP Party has sold out every year.

Proceeds from the event benefit the SOS Food Pantry, which provides critical food security to low-income and homeless Orange County residents. Volunteer and staff drivers collect food from grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries and caterers throughout Orange County and deliver it to SOS. Five days a week, SOS distributes an average of 235 bags of groceries a day to individuals and families in need.
