P.F. Chang’s is unveiling its Year of the Pig celebration starting February 5. Each day through March 25, 2019, P.F. Chang’s is featuring three new Year of the Pig hand-crafted cocktails. Guests that dine in the restaurant will also receive a limited-edition Fortune-Telling Pig, that, once placed in the palm of the hand, reveals your hidden secrets. For the first time, P.F. Chang’s is also launching a Chinese New Year-inspired gift card featuring a pig made entirely of fresh peppers, with chili seeds positioned to create the Chinese symbol for ‘pig.’ The Year of the Pig gift card will be available online and in restaurants throughout 2019.

P.F. Chang’s new hand-crafted, hand-squeezed Year of the Pig cocktails include:

YEAR OF THE PIG – Monkey Shoulder Whisky, five-spice syrup, fresh lemon juice, orange juice, and bitters, garnished with an orange peel, served in a bacon and sugar-rimmed glass
THE PINK PIG SPRITZ – Hendrick’s Gin and Cointreau Liqueur with blood orange purée, pomegranate juice, and Villa Sandi Prosecco, served in a sugar-rimmed glass
HAPPIER THAN A PIG -Monkey Shoulder Whisky, Aperol, almond syrup, fresh pineapple and lime juice, with an edible art garnish pig
Also known as the Spring Festival, Chinese New Year is when loved ones come together to celebrate new beginnings with traditional dishes that symbolize good luck and prosperity. To experience tasty good luck in the new year, dine on the following dishes – but be sure to offer some to your friends and family! Remember, good fortune is something to be shared with those you love.

CHANG’S CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAPS – In Cantonese, the word for “lettuce” sounds like “rising fortune.” So, the more you eat, the more fortune you will have.
CECILIA’S DUMPLINGS – Shaped like gold and silver coins from ancient China, dumplings symbolize prosperity. As they are stuffed and folded, each by hand, wealth and prosperity are sealed inside.
LONG LIFE NOODLES & PRAWNS – Longer, uncut noodles symbolize longevity. Tradition has it that eating a bowl of noodles could increase your lifespan.
KUNG PAO CHICKEN – In Chinese culture, Kung Pao means “hot firecrackers,” which are lit during the New Year to scare away evil spirits. Our fiery woks help bring this made-from-scratch dish to life and will certainly cast away all evil.
MONGOLIAN BEEF – Chinese tradition believes that vegetables purify and cleanse the body and soul. Pick up your chopsticks and grab a bunch of our nutrient-rich green onions in this classic handcrafted dish.
OOLONG CHILEAN SEA BASS – Serving fish is symbolic of prosperity, so having this purposeful recipe at the dinner table is regarded as a promising way to start the New Year.
THE GREAT WALL OF CHOCOLATE® – Cake’s sweetness symbolizes a rich, sweet life, while the layers represent rising abundance for the coming year.
