WHAT: The 10th Annual Wags N Wine is an all-inclusive event with wine, beer, food, auction prizes, live entertainment, and a POOCH PAGEANT at the grand Paséa Hotel and Spa overlooking the ocean in Huntington Beach.

Enter your pooch in the Pooch Pageant and watch him/her strut the red carpet in all his/her glory. A celebrity group of judges may select your pooch as Best in Show. Prizes will be awarded!

VIP guests will receive extra special wine pours during the VIP hour, special bites, a VIP wine glass, a food/wine carry tray, and a handsome gift bag of goodies.

All attendees will receive the commemorative Wags N Wine wine glass to take home. Plus, all dogs attending will receive their very own “goody bag.” Finally, there will be rescue organizations at the event with wonderful adoptable dogs!

There are 65 restaurants, wineries, breweries, and other vendors with a wide assortment of culinary delights. Five rescue organizations will bring dogs available for adoption. Special guest, W. Bruce Cameron, will conduct a book signing, and fellow animal lover, Lynette Romero of KTLA, will conduct the Pooch Pageant.

WHY: Wags N Wine is a wine and food tasting fundraising event for Waggin’ Trails Rescue Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. They rescue animals from California shelters and rehome them in other states and Western Canada whose shelters are less impacted, and where these amazing animals are quickly adopted. Many of the dogs have been abandoned, lost, forgotten, left behind, or are simply roaming the streets to survive. Most end up in overcrowded California shelters where they wait to be saved. Unfortunately California shelters cannot keep them all long enough to be adopted, and far too many of these beautiful and adoptable animals are euthanized each day to make room for more. The cycle continues. Waggin’ Trails Rescue Foundation is committed to making a difference.
