About the Event

Kamayan is a Tagalog word that means “by hand” and refers to the communal-style feast and the soul of Filipino cuisine. Its a shared experience with family and friends alongside a delectable variety of food served on banana leaves and eaten without utensils.

The hands-on, interactive meal isn’t just a way of eating; it’s about collectively taking a step back and engaging with your food and each other. It’s about building and fostering a community, where everyone is welcome to the table. It is an eating experience as much a learning experience.

And there’s no better place to have this communal feast than local Long Beach farm, Farm Lot 59.
