Loose Leaf Boba Company has literally taken their business model to The Streets during the last year by “’ Keepin’ it Real’ while providing guests with the best drinks they can offer and a cultural experience to remember.”

To mark the one-year anniversary they will present a traditional Chinese Lion Dance in front of the store to bless their business with continued success on September 15 at 1 p.m. Loose Leaf Boba Company is located at 315 Promenade North.

To celebrate the milestone, they will also offer discounts to the first 50 guests with a free Mango Colada or half-off any drink; the next 50 guests receive half-off any drink; and the following guests receive 25 percent off their drink or half-off a Mango Colada for the remainder of the day or while quantities last. They will also be giving away 12 “Boba Gang” Dad hats, two “Andie Bear” plush toys, and 20 limited “Matcha” Taiwanese cakes. In addition, three raffles will be held throughout the afternoon with the first winner receiving a $100 Loose Leaf Gift Card, the second winner receiving a $50 Loose Leaf Gift Card, and the third winner receiving a $20 Loose Leaf Gift Card.

“The Chinese Lion Dance is a revered blessing for continued success in our business. It’s a remarkable performance and I hope the community will join us in the celebration,” said Thomas Liu, Chief Executive at Loose Leaf Boba Company. “For those who don’t know us, we are a Boba Company intent on changing up the industry. We specialize in creating drinks using culturally unique ingredients while ‘Keepin’ It Real.’ That means no artificial powders, colors, syrups, or flavors. It’s all real from the start.“

Loose Leaf Boba Company wants to change the way people view boba and tea. Their mission is to bring the world closer with one cup at a time and one person at a time by providing a cultural experience to remember. It’s their goal to spark change in the human spirit in how to view the different cultures in this ever-changing, diverse, and interconnected world.

Loose Leaf Boba Company sets itself apart as it strives for real quality ingredients in their drinks, unlike conventional boba teahouses where artificial powders and syrups are used. They do not use powdered milk teas or artificial non-dairy creamer powders. They only source the best milks for their milk teas such as Strauss Family Milk Products and Califia Farm Plant-Based Milks. They also only use real fruits and real sugar in their drinks.

“Loose Leaf Boba Company has been an amazing addition to the wide variety of new shops, restaurants, and services at The Streets. We look forward to their one-year anniversary celebration, plus many more,” said Tony Shooshani, Managing Director of The Streets.

Loose Leaf Boba Company officially opened at The Streets in Downtown Long Beach on September 15, 2018, with a traditional Chinese Lion Dance for a Grand Opening Blessing immediately following the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
