Mark Wain and Gary Chau, pioneers of L.A.’s third wave coffee movement and owners of Caffe Luxxe, are excited to expand their highly coveted coffee and lifestyle brand to Long Beach this month. The new cafe will join the lineup of premiere retailers at Long Beach’s new shopping and lifestyle destination, 2ND & PCH. This will mark the brand’s 7th location as it enters into its 13th year of business.
Caffe Luxxe’s Long Beach café plans on opening its doors come mid-November and will host a grand opening complete with FREE Americanos and Cappuccinos to celebrate (exact dates to follow).
To commemorate their Long Beach opening, Caffe Luxxe will release an exclusive coffee blend only available at this location. Their Naples Blend, named for Long Beach’s adorable waterfront neighborhood, will be a blend of coffees from Brazil and Guatemala – this medium-bodied blend evokes a beautiful aroma of toffee, citrus zest, and toasted nuts with a flavor profile of black tea, cherry soda, and white grape.
“We are thrilled to become a part of the beautiful and family-oriented community in Long Beach, where there’s a true sense of neighborhood,” shares Chau. “We hope to provide a space where family and friends can get together in a social environment, and your barista knows your name and favorite drink.”
Caffe Luxxe roasts all its coffee locally, by hand. It’s a farm-to-cup concept, which means their commitment to serving great coffee begins thousands of miles away at family-owned and operated farms that practice sustainability. By focusing on building great relationships and transparent communication with farmers, Caffe Luxxe can secure better coffee for its customers and better lives for the families that help produce their coffee.
The Long Beach cafe opens its doors mid-November and will host a grand opening complete with free Americanos and cappuccinos to celebrate. Caffe Luxxe commemorates each opening with an exclusive coffee blend release, and in keeping with tradition, the company will debut their Naples Blend, named for Long Beach’s picturesque waterfront neighborhood, which Caffe Luxxe, takes its inspiration from Italy. A blend of coffees from Brazil and Guatemala, the medium-bodied Naples Blend evokes aromas of toffee, citrus zest and toasted nuts and flavor notes of black tea, cherry cola and white grape.
In addition to serving up deliciously handcrafted cups of coffee, the cafe will feature a variety of fresh pastries, including handmade croissants, scones, and cookies. The cafe’s marketplace will be curated with a collection of lifestyle products including the Caffe Luxxe A Casa bath & body line, freshly roasted bags of Caffe Luxxe coffee, and a number of Wain and Chau’s favorite local provisions.
Caffe Luxxe’s concept is also thoughtfully reflected in the cafe’s design, which incorporates a blend of classic and modern elements. Crisp white walls with dark grey accents paired with marble countertops and vibrant yellow accents will welcome guests into this bright and airy space complete with an outdoor patio perfect for sipping coffee and socializing with friends.
Caffe Luxxe is located at 6420 E. Pacific Coast Highway, Long Beach, CA 90803, and will be open daily from 7 am to 6 pm. For more information visit www.caffeluxxe.com.
