Culinary Software Services will release the next major upgrade of ChefTec Eleven (2011) software on September 20, 2010. The increased business building benefits and the ability to keep up with the ever-changing foodservice industry is what customers have come to expect from the industry standard.

“Managing a foodservice operation in a competitive market place and during an economic downtown is challenging,” commented Catherine Buresh, Operations Manager for Culinary Software Services. “Our customers increasingly find ChefTec an essential tool in improving business processes and maximizing profits. Whether it’s a completely new piece of functionality, such as data integration with a major food purveyor or a small change in data-entry operation, ChefTec is designed to save time, cut waste and save money.”

Customers using Production Management will see improvements in the speed and flexibility in creating Production Sheets in “ChefTec Eleven”. Multi-selection and speed typing features have been added to make data entry quicker. Additional security features have been added to the production process for failsafe results.

Customers can utilize ChefTec’s business process integration technology (electronic data interchange and XML) to integrate internal and external food purchasing data from U.S. Foodservice as well as integrate financial information between ChefTec and QuickBooks Online. Automated processing using ChefTec technology allows users to stop “app hopping” and ensures data integrity, security, and consistency. With multiple user levels of security newly added in “ChefTec Eleven”, companies stay in control of their sensitive financial data while allowing more flexibility in their workforce.
