Mishawaka-based SMART Temps, LLC has recently announced strategic partnerships with two key companies within the food service operations industry: HMSHost and Winston Industries.
HMSHost has chosen SMART Temps to provide temperature management system solutions for its U.S. airport food and beverage operations. The SMART Temps Temperature Management system is a highly-effective, web-based tool that allows food service operators to accurately check and record food temperatures, as well as monitor refrigerator and freezer temperatures around the clock.
“Our purpose for partnering with SMART Temps is to have real time controls in place to better manage asset protection on site and to better protect the food we serve to our customers. Food safety is a priority at HMSHost and one we take very seriously. SMART Temps is the best solution we have found to assist us in providing consistent, safe meals to our guests” says Jeff Yablun, Senior Vice President of Operations, HMSHost.
Similarly, Winston Industries has partnered with SMART Temps, LLC to announce the release of the first integrated temperature management solution, Kitchen Data Systems, powered by SMART Temps, for the food service industry. Food temperatures are transmitted to an online command center providing accurate, real-time temperature documentation helping operators meet all Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) reporting standards, with ease and eliminating hand-written temperature logs.
“We are enthusiastic and excited to be partnering with SMART Temps to provide another innovation to the industry,” said Barry Yates, Director of Sales for Winston Industries. “Together we look forward to continuing to offer transformative, high level equipment and service solutions to our customers.”
