At Eats Kitchen & Bar, guests are immediately greeted by the energy of the communal space both indoors and out, designed to spark a fun and approachable environment to simply hang out. The restaurant’s decor was created with the outdoors in mind, featuring earth tones, wood floors, cozy booths and an alfresco patio that’s perfect for Irvine’s year-round mild weather. Inside, guests can snag a seat at the 360-degree circular bar for casual conversation and interactivity with knowledgeable mixologists, or grab a table any where you like in the great room surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. In the evening, the glow from the fire pit gives warmth to the patio’s casual vibe as it comes to life with a musical blend of classic favorites and current indie rock playing in the background. Throughout the restaurant, an eager and passionate staff is standing by to share the latest culinary creations from the kitchen and bar.
Offering a simple range of American classics with a gastro pub-inspired approach to each dish, the menu at Eats Kitchen & Bar was devised by locally known Chef Jason Montelibano. Taking the lead in the kitchen as opening chef after nearly four years at Chapter One in downtown Santa Ana, Chef Jason brings his own flair and twist to the menu in Eats. He’s serving up some of own creations like classics like Pork Belly Buns topped with homemade kimchi, Fried Chicken and Biscuits dipped in Sriracha butter and served with country gravy, Fish and Chips created with a delicate batter made from a rotating selection of local craft beers, and mouth-watering burgers like the Craft Burger made from scratch and topped with house-smoked bacon and IPA cheese sauce. He also maintains menu favorites that are Classics like the Cobb Salad, Mac & Cheese and a variety of Flat Breads.
Craft beer lovers and artisan cocktail drinkers will enjoy the playful selection of brews and spirits on the menu at Eats Kitchen & Bar. Sourced from local microbreweries, the restaurant’s craft beer list includes small batch barrels delivered from Fullerton to San Clemente to Escondido to San Francisco. Lighthearted cocktails include the signature “Oh HI!” made with Old Scout Bourbon, lemon juice, honey and topped with Belgian beer, and The Shandy featuring rosemary-infused Boyd Blair Vodka. Wine lovers will find a wide selection of bright whites, reds and blends by the glass mainly from California on the menu, including wine flights in three and five stops for anyone wanting to sample more than one. Eats also features a non-alcoholic libation menu with house-made vintage sodas like the Brazilian Limeade or Lavender Vanilla Soda.
Breakfast is served daily from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m., lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner is served from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. (SundayThursday) and 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
