Falasophy – Santa Ana – January 2020 – 3 Year – Anniversary

Falasophy Santa Ana

Restaurant will give away 100 FREE orders of Spicy Falafel Tacos and Orange Blossom Lemonade to first 100 guests during grand opening 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28.

SANTA ANA Falasophy, a popular food truck in Los Angeles and Orange County, opened its first brick-and-mortar location Thursday, Jan. 12, at 4th Street Market. The Falasophy Food Truck will remain serving public and private stops and events.

Falasophy is the first Lebanese restaurant to open in Downtown Santa Ana and will celebrate by offering the first 100 guests at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, Orange Blossom Lemonade and an order of their popular Spicy Falafel Tacos (2)—tacos Gustavo Arellano of OC Weekly called “more authentic than Frida Khalo.”

Owner Rashad Moumneh, a former Taco Bell executive who launched Falasophy in 2014, has expanded his menu at Falasophy 4th Street Market to include more Lebanese street food, like 24-hour marinated steak shawarma, sumac chicken and a cheesy Middle Eastern dessert called knefe.

Falasophy will also expand the popular line of salad and hummus bowls with a variety of protein options. The philosophy-themed truck has already garnered thousands of faithful “Falasophy Disciples” with classic falafel pitas, hummus bowls, and twists on street food like falafel tacos and Falafel Banh Mi pitas.

“I’m excited to open in Santa Ana because it gives our Falasophy Disciples a place to come everyday to enjoy new and classic Falasophy dishes,” Chief Falasopher Rashad Moumneh said. “We’re proud to be a part of the 4th Street Market, as it has built a great legacy in a short time for hosting tenants who approach food in new ways.”

4th Street Market is at 201 E. 4th Street, in Santa Ana. For more information on Falasophy, including food truck schedule and menu, visit falasophy.com. For more information on 4th Street Market, visit 4thstreetmarket.com.
