Tasting room is now open – brewery and restaurant opening 2016.

Los Angeles’ leading craft brewery, Golden Road Brewing, will open the doors of its Anaheim tasting room on Saturday, November 14 at 2210 East Orangewood Ave. across from Angel Stadium. Aficionados of the beloved brand can look forward to pours and to-go packs of Golden Road favorites at the new beer haven, which marks the beginning phase of the company’s first major expansion project outside of its hometown. To celebrate their arrival in the area, the Golden Road team will be providing complimentary tacos from Soho Taco to the first 200 guests who arrive on opening day to raise a glass to the new tap room.

“We’re thrilled to start this new chapter for Golden Road Brewing,” said President and Co-Founder Meg Gill. “Orange County embodies the California lifestyle we’ve always celebrated, and we’re looking forward to continuing to set down roots here – especially during such an exciting time for craft beer in the region.”

Eventually, the tasting room will make way for a 56,000-square-foot complex larger than the brand’s LA headquarters that will encompass a brewery, beer garden, and restaurant slated to open in fall 2016. Once completed, award-winning brewmaster and Southern California native Victor Novak, who joined Golden Road over one year ago after 15 years with TAPS Fish House & Brewery in nearby Brea, will lead the Anaheim-based brewing team. In Anaheim, Novak and the local team will brew specialty beers on Golden Road’s 15-barrel system for the pub onsite and limited distribution to Golden Road retailers in the area.

“I’ve been looking forward to returning to Orange County and brewing a variety of classic styles and new specialty beers that complement our current lineup,” said Novak. “The community of beer drinkers here is so savvy and I’m excited to share the vision of Golden Road on the smaller scale this pilot facility will provide.”

In the meantime, fans and first-time sippers will be able to enjoy a selection of 15 taps of Golden Road’s core beers, like Point the Way IPA and Get Up Offa That Brown ale, and a rotating selection of seasonal specialties, like Better Weather IPA and Brandy Back Home Ginger Bread Stout, on draft in the 1,700-square foot tasting room. Over half the square footage will be dedicated to a lively outdoor patio, on which guests will be able to take advantage of picnic-style and communal seating, as well as foosball and ping-pong tables. Enthusiasts will also be able to take home featured taps and 4- and 6-packs of Golden Road’s signature canned beers, as well as growler fills down the line.

Golden Road’s new tasting room is located at 2210 E. Orangewood Ave., Anaheim, CA 92806 and will be open 4pm-12am Monday through Thursday, 4pm-2am on Friday, 12pm-2am on Saturday, and 12pm-12am on Sunday.
