Husband-and-wife team, Chef Noah and Marín von Blöm, introduce a members only-dining experience to Orange County with the opening of The Guild Club at Costa Mesa’s South Coast Collection (3321 Hyland Avenue, Suite G). This sophisticated reservation-only concept is located next to acclaimed sister restaurants, ARC and Restaurant Marin, and is the third project conceptualized and opened by the von Blöms’ DirtySexyHappiness Hospitality Group.
This restaurant is described by the von Blöms as the original Gentleman’s Club, or Winston Churchill’s Den. At The Guild, the juxtaposition of simplicity and stunning details are the ultimate sophistication. Cocktails focus on classics that are made from scratch using rare and superior spirits and technique. Stylistically traditional European beers and a crafted wine list complement Chef Noah’s classic menu.
The 1,000-square-foot restaurant, which shares walls with sister concepts ARC and Restaurant Marin, presents a more exclusive, member-driven, reservation-only dinner experience, complete with classic service. Designed entirely by Marin, The Guild Club features an exaggerated, almost theatrical glimpse into late 19th century fine dining with rich woodwork and wingback chairs.
“The Guild Club is an intimate space that can best be described as refined, crisp, and a bit whimsical,” commented Marin. “The Guild Club presents an alternative to the offerings and ambiance found at ARC and Restaurant Marin.”
