Holiday Logo 7 5 16Social Management Group (SMG) today announced that Holiday, Westside Costa Mesa’s newest social cocktail lounge, opened their doors on Friday, July 15, 2016. The venue, reminiscent of the classic cocktail era, will offer a sultry blend of craft libations, late night gourmet snacks, nightly entertainment and a unique evening experience out on the town.

Holiday has been created out of the former Lion’s Den Nightclub located on 19th Street in Costa Mesa. With an understated and discreet entry, once inside the doors, Holiday will reveal an interior inspired by a 1900s French Country Plantation House complete with plush lounge seating, a hand crafted wood carved bar, dance floor and intimate stage for entertainment.

On any given evening guests can catch live entertainment on the Holiday stage. Expect rare musical performances, thought provoking spoken word or something very unexpected. With a dimmed ambiance and atmospheric music, Holiday will exude the comfort and charm of the quintessential classic cocktail lounge, taking the guest back in time to an enticing and social era.

The Holiday cocktail program will offer a robust list of craft classics including an Old Fashion, Manhattan, Whiskey Mule and Sazerac. For a spirited twist one might order the “On Holiday” with rye, ginger, orange juice, Angostura bitters and soda or the “Gatsby” with Goose, coconut water, Falernum, lime and cinnamon syrup.

Cocktails are paired with the Holiday late night snack menu. Select from a sampling of gourmet grilled cheeses that span The Pilgrim with Gouda, cranberry sauce, Dijon mustard, spinach and smoked turkey on honey wheat to Southern Hospitality with American, cheddar and macaroni cheese, bacon and pulled pork on buttermilk white. Complimentary fresh popcorn will be served table side with assorted seasonings including sour cream and onion, Buffalo and blue cheese, smoked bacon or Cajun. For those with a sweet tooth try The Nut with Nutella and fried bananas on sweet Hawaiian bread.

The team at SMG is the creative force behind Holiday’s classic concept. The principal members have been operating and promoting restaurants, bars, nightclubs and special events in greater California for over 15 years. Past venues that the group has developed include Sutra Nightclub, Bassmnt NightClub and La Vida Cantina to name a few.

Holiday’s vibe, ambiance, cocktail program and entertainment offers something special for those looking beyond the typical bar scene and who aren’t interested in going to a traditional nightclub.

Holiday will officially unveil on July 15 with Friday and Saturday evenings open from 9pm to 1am through August. Save the date for the Holiday public grand opening soiree August 12. Additional evenings will unveil in late summer. Holiday is the ideal venue for special occasions and events of all kinds. For more information visit HolidayCM.com.
