King Buffet – Long Beach – April 2019 – 2 Year – Anniversary

King Buffet Crawdads

Making its debut with a soft opening on Wednesday, April 26, King Buffet becomes the newest restaurant to open on Pine Avenue and joins several new tenants in the six-block area now simply referred to as “The Streets.” Located in the heart of Downtown Long Beach, “The Streets” is centered in between Third Street, Sixth Street, Pine Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard.

The 11,700-square-foot King Buffet offers guests a full-service Chinese buffet selection and sits at 560 Pine Avenue between Fifth Street and Sixth Street.

“We welcome the opening of King Buffet to Historic Pine Avenue and look forward to the added interest in this area of Downtown,” said Tony Shooshani, managing member of Shooshani Developers. “There is a wide-variety of terrific restaurants and retail stores in the Downtown area and we encourage residents from other parts of Long Beach to visit the mixed-use district soon.”

Shooshani Developers recently announced that new lease agreements have also been signed with several new tenants including Burgerim, Creative Crepes, Party Monkey, Poke Cat, Romeo Chocolates, Table 301 and The Plant Junkie.

Two new projects are also moving forward on 4th Street with an innovative, parklet dining area in front of Milana’s New York Pizzeria, Mitaki Japanese Restaurant and Fresh Kabobs, followed by a proposed new parklet on Pine Avenue in front of several retail locations including The Pie Bar. The 4th Street parklet will pay homage to Long Beach’s music legacy and the Pine Avenue parklet will feature connections to Long Beach’s sister cities. The parklets are the kind of place-making environments that customers are asking for in the area.

For a complete list of the 34 retail stores, specialty shops, entertainment venues, and dining outlets spread throughout the 350,000-square-foot mixed-use district, please visit http://www.facebook.com/thestreetsdtlb.com.
