On Friday, May 12, Miguel’s Jr. President and CEO Javier Vasquez and founders Mike and Mary Vasquez hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the brand’s 16th location in Redlands, a newly constructed 3,000 sq. ft. homestyle California Mexican food haven. Redlands Chamber of Commerce President, Todd Underwood and representatives from California State Assembly Member Mark Steinorth’s office and California State Senator Mike Morrell’s office were in attendance during the ceremony to welcome the Miguel’s Jr. team to the community.
“I’m happy to welcome Mike and Mary to Redlands. With 16 locations and 42 years in the business, we are delighted to have Miguel’s Jr. here,” stated Todd Underwood, Redlands Chamber of Commerce President.
The Miguel’s Jr. in Redlands will be among the first locations to serve Miguel’s Jr.’s new fresh squeezed, all-natural lemonade and house-made horchata featuring 100% all natural pure cane sugar. The new location will also offer an expanded beverage menu that includes Vitamin Water and Powerade.
Miguel’s Jr. Redlands opened with the full menu of homestyle Mexican dishes made using only premium ingredients including fresh Haas avocados, all-natural and hormone free poultry, pasture raised, Midwest corn fed beef, 100% stone ground tortillas and tortilla chips, as well as daily fresh-made salsa and hot sauce.
