The Stand soft opened at the Oak Creek Shopping Center in Irvine, California on Thursday, November 10, 2016. A Southern California staple with locations in Northridge, Encino, Century City and Woodland Hills, The Stand delivers a diverse menu of redefined American classics, designed to offer quality and speed of service, offering comfort for all early century diners. Murray Wishengrad, CEO/President of The Stand, joined by Jason Wishengrad, Executive Vice President and Culinary Director, and Andrew Jhawar, Chairman, bring The Stand’s first Orange County location to life, embodying the brand’s culture and ability to satisfy a wide range of needs and meal occasions – all with exceptional value.
The 90-seat indoor restaurant with outdoor common dining patio accommodating 200, embraces an upscale casual vibe, with sophisticated and modern interiors designed by Architect Jonathan Glasglow, in partnership with Murray and Jason Wishengrad. Inclusive of an open kitchen acting as both a showpiece and a hyper functional work space, The Stand includes Carrera Marble counter tops, dark wood tables, individual and communal seating, multiple 75 inch televisions, a custom-made beer tap and digital menus.
The Stand’s menu features an extensive selection of custom, made-to-order American classics such as “Stand Dogs” and “Standwiches”, with innovative spins and unique ingredients, designed and executed by Culinary Director Jason Wishengrad. Beverages comprise a large selection of wine and 20 draft beers on tap, including the signature 20 oz. Stand Blonde Ale and 3 Golden Road beers, served exclusively to The Stand locations.
