The celebration began in 2010 as a mark of the harvest season for The Resort at Pelican Hill’s 750 mature olive trees. The arrival of autumn and the cool, crisp beach breeze signal the act of harvesting and pressing olives and the celebration of an eloquently aged way of dining and entertaining.
Guests are invited to experience live art, entertainment and cuisine prepared by the likes of Chef Angelo Auriana. Try a family-style dining experience, watch as Madonnari street artists create masterpieces with chalk and bring your children to create one of a kind flags and Venetian masks. Participating children (ages 4-12) can partake in the Carnevale dei Bambini ” the Children’s Carnival ” coordinated by authentic Italian flag performers.
Immerse in the tradition of Italy for the day or take advantage of The Resort at Pelican Hill’s Festa Weekend Package which includes one night of accommodation, a special welcome amenity and entry to Saturday’s Italian Street Festa.
