Slater’s 50/50 Launches Most Epic Creation Yet: The “50/50 Furter
This is NOT A DRILL! Slater 50/50 applies its revolutionary 50/50 recipe to the world of hot dogs! Be prepared for this launch on September 3rd just in time for International Bacon Day.

On September 3, ALL Slater’s 50/50 California locations will debut the new bacon hot dog by giving away FREE 50/50 Furter’s from 11a.m. to 5p.m. – no purchase necessary (while supplies last).
The “50/50 Furter” will be a permanent addition to the Slater’s 50/50 menu and will be offered in five uniquely glorious combinations:
- 50/50 Furter – 100 percent beef frank stuffed with freshly chopped, crispy smoked bacon and wrapped in bacon; served with choice of traditional toppings – $8.00
- Classic 50/50 – “50/50 Furter” topped with chipotle adobe mayo, avocado, pepper jack cheese and a sunny side up egg – $9.00
- The Abe Froman – an untraditional take on the Chicago Style hot dog, this “50/50 Furter” is topped with green relish, yellow mustard, pickles, tomato, sport peppers and celery salt and rests atop a poppy seed brioche bun – $9.00
- Chili Cheese Ripper – “50/50 Furter” topped with Guinness bacon chili, beer cheese sauce, chopped red and green onions – $9.00
- BBQ Bacon Bomb – “50/50 Furter” topped with cole slaw, dill pickle chips, fried onions and BBQ sauce – $9.00
