C4 Deli: Cure For The Common CLOSED – Santa Ana

The Cure for the Common is what happens when an old school, housesourced NY Deli marries a modern wine bar/retail shop as well as a craft beer bar. Retail, quick bites, counter/bartop service, insane selections of craft and artisan beers, wines, cheeses, meats and house baked breads. It will speak to the Art Deco exterior of this historical building, the Empire Building, with Craftsman warmth as well as grandiose odes to 20's stylized Art Deco sunbursts, long lines and the sheer, stark beauty that Rockefeller would've been envious he didn't design and own for himself. Gotham City meets Frank Lloyd Wright, while maintaining the non-"Disney-esqe" way of making it actually feel like it authentically has been operating for decades with an inviting warmth. Escape in this whirl of smells of baking bread, delicious wine and beer and sharp intrigue of exotic cheeses, house-cured meats, and a gorgeous design that shoots you 100 years into the past.
