Chef Amy Lebrun
Chef Amy Lebrun, born and raised in Huntington Beach, has worked along the California coast her entire life; her cooking style defined by the access to fresh agriculture. She’s been passionate about cooking since receiving her first Easy Bake Oven at age four.
She attended Culinary School at Orange Coast College and later the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley. “In my early 20’s I was heavily influenced by Julia Child—more like an obsession, really. Soon after, Suzanne Goin inspired me to use the freshest and most seasonal ingredients.”
She’s been at Lido Bottle Works since opening in May 2017. Her culinary flourish is most evident in the restaurant’s popular Weekend Brunch Menu, which she created, and the Daily Specials: tacos with handmade tortillas; made-from-scratch soups; and the locally-sourced Dory Catch, which she shops for almost daily in the early morning at the Dory Fishing Fleet on the Newport Peninsula. In February 2018, Lido Bottle announced Chef Amy as their new Executive Chef.
The menu at Lido Bottle Works will continue to evolve through the seasons, Chef Amy said, but the most popular items remain available.
