Restaurateur Clayton Peterson
Clayton Peterson, Costa Mesa native and mastermind of The Boathouse Collective, will explain his design vision, which was to convert the old building into an artistic and creative space while maintaining its historical integrity and original features that convey the building’s nautical history. A vintage steam pipe, for example, was repurposed to house the multiple beer tap handles at the bar, which exemplify the concept and goal of constructing the venue with reclaimed and repurposed elements.
