Ice hockey icon, and co-proprietor of Selanne Steak Tavern, Teemu Selanne, and his business partner Kevin Pratt, opened their new TS Gourmet Shoppe at 1450 South Coast Highway.

The Shoppe, which is located in a 200 square-foot intimate space adjacent to Selanne Steak Tavern, is stocked with Prime Steaks and Chops sustainably sourced from the United States, Australia and the Piedmont Region of Italy. All meats are cut-to-order by Chef Joshua Severson and his trained butchering team, allowing them to reduce waste and provide the best quality cuts of the freshest meats at the time of customer purchase. In addition, the store is stocked with fresh seafood, Farmers Market soups, Chef Severson’s secret sauces, caviar, assorted cheeses, truffle butter, sea salts, curried candy peanuts and other delicacies. Also, from the kitchen, sweet treats including macarons, mints, and cookies are available.

At holiday time, TS Gourmet Shoppe also offers an array of distinctive gift items, including signature Moscow Mule Mugs, Selanne Steak Tavern aprons and t-shirts, and from Teemu Selanne’s Aufeis Proprietary Line of Goods, signed Teemu pucks, Selanne hoodies and other apparel.

The Shoppe, open from 3 to 10 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, was created to afford customers the opportunity to purchase some of their favorite Selanne Steak Tavern foods, as well as Teemu Selanne mementos, extending the adoration that so many people hold for this hockey legend.
