1st Annual Craft Brew Fest – Ballast Point Beer Dinner

It is the ultimate celebration of specialty craft beers, a trend that is gaining worldwide attention. The culinary team at Balboa Bay Resort, led by Executive Chef Rachael Haggstrom, has created a gastronomic weekend food and brew experience over a three-day festival October 16, 17, and 18. It is being called A&O’s (Anchors and Oceans) 1st Annual Craft Brew Fest and it kicks off Friday evening October 16 with a Ballast Point beer dinner in A&O Kitchen+Bar featuring a five-course dinner consisting of an extraordinary menu beginning with an amuse bouche of chicerone, Oaxacan spiced cheese followed by white bass sashimi, a beer soup of braised chicken, kale and quail egg, and an entre of lamb chops and braised lamb bastille. Of course, beer will flow from Ballast Point Craft Brews.
