29th Annual SOS Wild & Crazy Taco Night

Share Our Selves (SOS) is excited to announce the 29th Annual Wild & Crazy Taco Night on Thursday, May 19th Plaza Pacifica at the OC Fair & Event Center. This year’s event is a return to an in-person party, so prepare for it to be as Wild & Crazy as ever! SOS is gathering a team of talented and generous chefs from across Orange County for what has become a distinct signature event consisting of unique tacos, craft beer, and inventive margaritas.

Tickets include all-you-can-eat tacos and beverages, including CaliFino Tequila margaritas, beer from Deschutes Brewery, seltzer from New Belgium Brewing, wine and nonalcoholic beverages.

See your favorite OC chefs at their most creative as they compete to craft the most unique tacos you’ll see all year. In 2021, the YELP People’s Choice Taco winner as chosen by attendees was Descanso Chef Fonzy De Zuniga’s “The Hakuna Matata” taco featuring Confit Wild Boar Al Pastor, Guajillo Salsa, Pineapple Chamoy, Bacon Bits, Jicama on a Cricket Infused Hand-Made Corn Tortillas, Micro Cilantro and Assorted Edible Flowers. Other delectable options included a Sweet ‘n Smokey Watermelon Taco with Citrus Slaw, Pico de Gallo topped with Mango Haberno Salsa served on a Blue Corn Tortilla from Sunsets Bar & Grill in Capo Beach, and a Baked Braised Greens, Caramelized Onions, Potato and Sweet Pea Enchilada with Cauliflower Rice, Carrots and Broccoli, White Bean Purée, Pico de Gallo and Avocado from Farmhouse’s Richard Mead.

Be a part of the pre-event VIP Party! Participating guests will enjoy early admission and have the opportunity to meet all of the chefs and sample their tacos before the general event begins. The VIP Party has sold out every year.
