5th Annual I LOVE POKE Festival Returns to Orange County

ONO YUM’s Hawaiian Tasting Event and Competition to Feature Chefs from Hawaii and Southern California with Island-Inspired Fare and Live Entertainment

The 5th Annual I Love Poke Festival tasting event and competition returns to Orange County on Sunday, November 13th at Hotel Irvine. The foodie festival and chef competition invites poke connoisseurs and newcomers to celebrate the Hawaiian delicacy, lifestyle, and culture as chefs compete for the title of best poke.

I Love Poke will feature a handful of Orange County chefs, as well as chefs from San Diego and Los Angeles, all competing for the title of “Best Poke” with their unique versions of the popular fish dish. Notable participants include past winners North Shore Poke Co., ILNLYF Foods (Island Life), Sushi Studio Arts and Good Choice Sushi. Festival goers will get to sample all poke, as well as many non-poke treats like shave ice from Hula Girls Shave Ice, Spam musubi from LA based East Los Musubi, Saimin soup by L&L Irvine and other Hawaiian/Asian inspired dishes. A panel of judges will evaluate each dish based on presentation, quality of ingredients and flavor, to crown the winner.
