The Back Bay Bistro at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort, which has been named one of Southern California’s “Top 10 brunch destinations” by Open Table, will serve up an elaborate Champagne brunch on Easter day. With unparalleled views of Newport Beach’s serene Back Bay, the restaurant will be open onSunday,April 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.and offer an expansive array of brunch favorites including carving stations, omelette bar and seafood buffet. The Easter Bunny also will be on hand to greet and take photos with children. The cost is $75 for adults (includes bottomless Champagne & Mimosas) and $35 for children 12 and under.
Among the dining options are a French toast and pancake bar; egg station; fresh seafood bar including salmon with dill mustard sauce, scallops, trout, shrimp cocktail, chilled crab legs and oysters on the half shell. Guests also will enjoy antipasti, specialty salads, leg of lamb, salted prime rib and a specialty paella station. Topping off the meal will be homemade desserts, fresh fruit and the pièce de resistance, a chocolate fondue fountain overflowing with premium Belgian chocolate.
